About Farnsfield physiotherapy and sports injury clinic.
Principle musculoskeletal physiotherapist
I qualified as a physiotherapist in 1998 from Keele University and have twelve years accomplished experience working in large university teaching hospitals. I have also spent a year working in New Zealand. This experience has allowed me to gain and develop a great depth of knowledge in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. This has seen me treat a variety of conditions and elite athletes from a number of sports including cricket, football and gymnastics. In the last few years I have specialised in treating upper limb conditions. In 2008 I gained an MSc in Sports Medicine at Nottingham University and have also been fortunate to present work at conferences as far away as Brazil and Japan
I have been a member of the health professions council and the chartered society of physiotherapy since qualifying and I am also currently a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society. I am also active in research and have a number of projects currently being developed in order to further our understanding of shoulder conditions and physiotherapy.
Associate physiotherapist – our associate physiotherapist qualified in 2010 from Bradford University and has gained wide experience in the orthopaedic and musculoskeletal field.
